Four days of full steam around Saalfeld

In late March 2025, WFL 03 2155-4 arrived in Saalfeld for photo runs and public excursions. Operations began on April 3, 2025, with a series of photo runs between Saalfeld and Triptis. Thanks to wonderful weather, some great shots of the locomotive were captured in a setting that was still largely authentic.

The morning was once again used for some photo runs. Public rides began in the afternoon.

A special train from Saalfeld via Gera to Leipzig was scheduled for this Saturday. Shortly before their replacement, the semaphore signals at Zeitz station once again served as a photo opportunity.
