Autumn Steam in the Vogtland
On an autumn weekend in October, steam locomotive 86 1333-3 rolled through the beautiful Vogtland region hauling an authentic photo train. Along the scenic route between Plauen and Adorf—and continuing to Zwotental, Bad Brambach, and Cheb—railway enthusiasts were treated to an authentic glimpse of a bygone era. The charming branch lines of the Vogtland, with their tight curves, small stations, and picturesque views, provided the perfect backdrop for striking photographs and a touch of nostalgia.
