Traveling the Harz Cross-Line and Selke Valley Railway on the T1 railcar
On March 8–9, 2025, a small group of railway enthusiasts enjoyed perfect weather while traveling along the Harz Cross-Line and Selke Valley Railway aboard a historic railcar operated by the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways. Numerous photo stops at carefully selected locations offered participants a wide range of photographic opportunities featuring the railcar, which was built in 1933 by the Dessau Wagon Factory for the Gernrode-Harzgerode Railway Company (GHE). The only downside was the closure of the line to Harzgerode due to a landslide. Thanks go to the event host and organizer.
